7 JUDGEMENT LEVELES

Level 1: Prophetic

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.-2 Chronicles 7:14 

Many have spoken prophetic words of repentance and warning. May we all have eyes to see and ears to listen to what the Spirit is saying to the Church. A few examples of prophetic warnings are:

1. The sequence of ten plagues spoken to Pharaoh through Moses that led to the Jubilee of the children of Israel from Egypt.

2. The prophetic lamentations in the days of Jeremiah and Joel revealing these levels of judgment upon Israel.

3. The levels of judgment upon Babylon spoken through the prophets that led again to the Jubilee of the children of Israel out of captivity.

 

Level 2: Disasters

Level 2: This level includes:

A. Several levels of disaster.

B. Many inconveniences.

C. Cup of iniquity must be filled and overflow before God judges the nation…note that God hardened Pharaoh’s heart so that God’s purpose would be fulfilled…Egypt’s god’s exposed, Israel is delivered as per God’s promise.

D. Pride comes before the fall.

E. A lack of national repentance.

Level 3: Calamities

When calamity comes, the wicked are brought down, but even in death the righteous have a refuge. – Proverbs 14:32

Calamity is defined by Merriam-Webster as

1: a state of deep distress or misery caused by major misfortune or loss.

2: a disastrous event marked by great loss and lasting distress and suffering <calamities of nature> calamity>.

 

Examples in History:

  • Elijah’s sign of a cloud before the rain (1 Kings 18:44).
  • The handwriting on the wall (Daniel 5).
  • Hurricane Sandy (Oct. 2012).

Level 4: Catastrophes

A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. -John 16:21

When a woman is pregnant there is a time limit to the child being in the womb. She carries the child and prepares for the birth. When the time finally arrives the woman enters into increasingly difficult labor. During the process the dilation moves into contractions. As she goes through the birth process there comes a point where the child is coming out and there is no way she can hold it back any longer. And the mother will endure the great pain (labor) to see the child. As a nation we have passed through the first three levels of seven phases of judgment and have entered the fourth level of Catastrophes.

Catastrophe is defined as:

1:   the final event of the dramatic action especially of a tragedy.

2:   a momentous tragic event ranging from extreme misfortune to utter overthrow or ruin.

3a:  a violent and sudden change in a feature of the earth or 3b:  a violent usually destructive natural event (as a supernova).

4:  utter failure (fiasco).

We can expect this level as:
A. Coming next,
B. Coming suddenly,
C. Great loss of life – national mourning,
D. Economic collapse,
E. and a national paradigm shift.

– Three more phases of Catastrophe to come.

Level 5: Famine

6 “Also I gave you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, And lack of bread in all your places; Yet you have not returned to Me,” Says the Lord. 7 “I also withheld rain from you, When there were still three months to the harvest. I made it rain on one city, I withheld rain from another city. One part was rained upon, And where it did not rain the part withered. 8 So two or three cities wandered to another city to drink water, But they were not satisfied; Yet you have not returned to Me,” Says the Lord. 9 “I blasted you with blight and mildew. When your gardens increased, Your vineyards, Your fig trees, And your olive trees, The locust devoured them; Yet you have not returned to Me,” Says the Lord. -Amos 4:6-9

 

13 “Son of man, when a land sins against Me by persistent unfaithfulness, I will stretch out My hand against it; I will cut off its supply of bread, send famine on it, and cut off man and beast from it.-Ezekiel 14:13

We know from the history of Israel that when they did not accept correction God brought greater levels of difficulty until they turned back to submit to Him. With this fifth level of famine we can expect:

A. Domino effects of catastrophes

B. Lack of repentance

Level 6: War

This Level includes continued defiance, rebellion, lack of repentance leading to:

A. Invasion.

B. Captivity becomes the foundation of repentance.

Suggestions for Prayer of Repentance to be prayed for our nation to turn back to submit to the Lord: Psalm 51, Psalm 32: 1-2, 2nd Chronicle 7:14, Malachi 3:3, Job 22:21, Daniel 9:5-19, and Ezra 9:5-8.
