He serves as Senior Pastor of Bethel World Outreach Church in Silver Spring, Maryland—a multicultural congregation of 2,500 members from 45 nations. He is Presiding Prelate of Bethel World Outreach Ministries International—a global organization of more 200 churches, schools, and para-church ministries with over 22,000 members in 24 nations, and is the Founder and CEO of Frontline Ministerial Alliance.
Bishop Johnson also serves in leadership in various cutting-edge organizations. He is the Assistant Presiding Bishop and Director of Missions and Outreach of the Kingdom Council of Interdependent Christian Churches and Ministries, Chairman of the Board of International Gospel Outreach Ministries, Vice-Chairman for the Africa Leadership Congress and Executive Board member of the Awakening America Alliance. Bishop Johnson is a native of Liberia.
